The Lewisburg Fire Department is a long time member of the TPFEA with the mission of working together in reducing the risk of death or injury from fires and fire-related emergencies. This is done by sharing comprehensive tools, insight, and knowledge about fire and life safety. The goal is to share helpful tools that will provide information and instruction to citizens of all ages about the dangers of fire in the home, including what to do in case of a fire, installing and testing smoke alarms, and developing/ planning a home escape plan.
The Lewisburg Fire Department has partnered with the National Fire Safety Council for over 30 years in providing educational materials annually for all schools within Marshall County. This program is made possible by donations from many businesses located throughout Marshall County
Touch a Truck events focus on educating younger children with fire safety and vehicles that firefighters use. Firefighters will bring a truck to any event requested for a demonstration and to provide fire safety materials.
Lewisburg Firefighters are happy to provide free blood pressure checks. You are welcome to stop by any of our locations for one.
Station tours are an enjoyable experience for all ages. The public is always welcome to stop by and request a tour of the station and trucks.
